Now if you know anything about web media, you may be looking at this going "Really Stu? Why are you promoting the Totally Rad Show? They've been around forever." Well, this is more an homage than a promotion. Announced on the first show this week, the Totally Rad Show is ending their almost six year run in two weeks.
I know it's a late entry, seeing it literally just came to my attention 10 minutes ago, but just the concept make me legit laugh out loud, and it's been re-tweeted on my feed by at least 15 different people I follow, so I must post. As evident by browser histories, I spend a lot of time on the Internet. A LOT of time. Like it's my primary mode of entertainment at this point. No, not that kind of entertainment...mostly.
Nah, primarily I tend to watch a lot of shows that are made exclusively for the online market. Of course I watch stuff from the big boys/originators like Revision3 or TWiT, but the ones I tend to come back to, promote, and mention are the more, shall I say, independent of the content creators. With this world of the Interwebs, anyone with a camera set-up, some good writing and the ability to capture and edit can create a show and garner an audience. We've tried it.
