Music Monday: Moon Trance by Lindsey Stirling

So usually I have some sort of chiptune or high energy gaming influenced house track or something like that here. Not this week. Well, it's still high energy, but not as much house. Getting classy here because I'm bringing the violin! Lindsey Stirling has been a long time violinist and YouTuber who's only made her first album release this past September, but is already has a pretty huge following through social media and other stuffs due to her unique violin styles, unexpected covers, and dance. And for the guys, and some girls because why be specific, because she's also immensely cute. For Halloween week, I found it only fitting to do the part of Halloween that no one ever has gotten sick of: zombies. Specifically thriller zombies.

If you want more Lindsay, you can buy her album on iTunes, subscribe to her YouTube channel, and follow her Twitter and Facebook

What? You want gaming stuff? Fine, how about the gaming medley she's become most famous for?

And, because I feel like it, one for Lisa.

  1. Wait, people still make music videos? Awesome! Oh, but no Vincent Price… bummer.

  2. For those who somehow still don’t have their curiosity piqued yet, Lindsey also covered the Skyrim theme with vocalist Peter Hollens, & she has Final Fantasy & Halo videos in the works.

And for those who don’t use iTunes, the album is also available through her website.

(Sorry if I’m intruding, but I’m a big fan.)

  3. I’m so glad you covered this, Stu. I’ve actually posted a few of her videos in Round-Ups past. It seems as of the past few weeks, she’s gotten a bit more popularity, which is pretty awesome for her. She deserves it.

  4. Thank you for introducing me to this. This is awesome. :)
