The Star Wars That I Used To Know
Every once in a while a parody video comes along that outshines all other parody videos of its kind. This is one of those videos. Whether you like the song "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye, or not, you have to appreciate the awesomeness of this video, as well as the truth behind the lyrics. If you can, swing by TeddieFilms on Youtube and give them a like and comment on the video.
I want to thank fellow Save Pointer (still not an official follower name) @ArcadeScholar, on Twitter, for showing me this video.

cool, wasn’t expecting this parody
I don’t know the original song/video this was based on, so I am sure that I’m not getting it entirely. Still, pretty damned funny.
My nephew is just old enough to be getting big into Star Wars. I am supposed to buy him the DVDs for his birthday, but I vowed never to pay for Lucas’ revamped, bastardized versions. Still, this kid only knows the movies as they are now. That’s what he and his friends all know and love. I weep for the future of humanity.

how can you not know the original song?
anyway, I never got the fuzz about the changes in the revamped star wars, I mean who cares (well, everyone but me apparently).
So what Han shot first? that actually makes him more of an ass, why’s that better?
You’re kidding right? Yeah. Your kidding.
If not
BE GONE NON-GEEK!
:(
Han shot first because he’s an ass. He’s a scruffy nerfherder. He’s a a scoundrel, a smuggler, a scumbag… that’s just who Han is.
The fact that this is where he started makes it all the more impressive in who he became.
Sometimes films are fine just they way they are. :)
I could have been REALLY mean and said, “let me Google that for you.”
Well, I’m an old geezer who saw Star Wars on opening day and I’m telling you flat out… HAN SHOT FIRST.
The “Han shot first” fight has been going on for years. It seems implausible to me that you don’t understand why old-school Star Wars fans are so angry about the constant changes being made to the original movies. I can understand you not agreeing, but I just can’t believe that anyone on this site doesn’t at least “get” where the other side is coming from.
In case you are sincere, however, I have Photoshopped a little graphic especially for you to explain why retroactive changes to Star Wars movies piss of older fans:

This was really well done, the green screen divide at the end was great.
I agree. The green screen at the end was genius.
