Lisa Nerds Out at E3
E3 ended today. All of the nerds are slowly leaving LA back to their own video game laden lives wherever they may roam. However, through our friends at The Game Station, we can relive the fun, excitement and possibly smell (if you get close enough to the screen) of E3 with Nerding Out! At E3 2012 with our own Lisa co-hosting and having interviews. Watch and enjoy! Also Like, favorite, share and all sorts of other promotional stuffs.
Oh, and in my own massive nerdom, the boss in Epic Mickey 2 that they show is a Wasteland version of Elliott in the Main Street Electrical Parade. Yes, I did know that immediately off the top of my head. No, I'm not weird. Not at all.

WHOO! LISA!
No, for realzies, you deserve your own show, dood. I’d watch that. I just hate all those shows out there with geeks with an overinflated ego. Take GameTrailers, for example. Throughout their stream, everyone kept kinda bragging/hinting about how they’ve already played half of the games that are being displayed. “Oh, Metal Gear looks awesome…justasawesomeasthattimewhenIplayeditlastyear! Oh, and that level is so cool…andIalreadyknowwhat’sgonnahappennext!”. And then you have your show hosts who look like they just moved out of their mom’s house yesterday. I could go on and on but the point is I really dislike all those guys. I wanna watch a show that I’m proud of. You know, so that next time my brother asks me what I’m watching, he won’t have a reason to say “Oh, a show for geeks clearly hosted by the king of geeks!”.
Not hating on GameTrailers. I mean, I watched it because they were showing it on TV. But it’s just an example.
At any rate, I was excited about GoW, AC3, Watch Dogs, SSB for the PS3, and stuff. And I also agree with Lisa; I do think it’s silly that Kratos can get his butt kicked by Fat Princess or Parappa the Rapper. But I think I got over it when Ganon was defeated by Pikachu in SSB. I’m still gonna play the game, don’t get me wrong. But it is odd.
Someday I’ll go to E3. Someday. >_>
At least, though, Pikachu IS a fighting animal with actual combat prowess. The closest thing Parappa has to an “attack” is “Punch! Kick! It’s all in the mind!”
An illustration of how Smash Bros actually does sorta keep its head on straight in that regard is with Olimar, who’s essentially helpless if you destroy his Pikmin.
Isn’t it “punch chop kick, it’s all in the mind”? I seem to remember that phrase being punched into my head while I attempted to chop the buttons on the controller, as the game was kicking my butt…
Ahh, good old Playstation Underground demo discs.
I wouldn’t know! I never played Parappa the Rapper. I only played Um Jammer Lammy. The onion guy does show up there, though. “Dojo, casino! It’s all in your mind!”
Poor, underrated Lammy…
